The Micro MV format is a type created and only used by Sony. Their tapes are approximately 70 percent smaller then Mini DV tapes. The size difference allows the camcorder to weigh significantly lighter then Mini DV camcorders.

Silence, Swift, Stillness

The viewers should never think about the cameraman. Be sure to let the action take place on camera, the focus should never be on yourself. Use a tripod if needed, or an image stabilization feature if it is on the camera. Other techniques include putting your back against a wall or tree, and focus on slow steady breathing. Avoid recodring zoomed shots as they make small motions seem bigger then they really are.

Analog tapes are not recommended as they are outdated and only yield low quality video and audio. They are relatively cheap, but do not work adequately enough to be considered a camcorder for your special occasion.

An alternative to analog tapes is their evolved form, digital. The price difference is worth the upgrade, I would not suggest analog tapes to anyone living in the 21st century, the media type is outdated and no longer relevant.
