The editing process is difficult as DVD editing is fairly new to the general public. There are an insufficient number of programs available; which are able to read the DVD's compressed video files. Purchasing the DVD's itself is a easy task, as they are now being sold at all major electronic and computer retailers.

Trouble Lighting

Digital cameras will automatically try to adjust the picture so it will look better under certain lighting conditions. If the Camera is pointed at a bright source of light, the camera will adjust itself. The subject will become darker and lose its detail. There is no real method to fix this other then to strictly avoid these types of conditions. Focus on the subject and make sure the camera can see properly without having to self adjusts.

Analog tapes are not recommended as they are outdated and only yield low quality video and audio. They are relatively cheap, but do not work adequately enough to be considered a camcorder for your special occasion.

An alternative to analog tapes is their evolved form, digital. The price difference is worth the upgrade, I would not suggest analog tapes to anyone living in the 21st century, the media type is outdated and no longer relevant.
