The Mini DV format has been used in a large range of video camcorders. Their popularity has led to the creation of many available programs which support editing and DVD transferring. The only additional hardware needed to transfer media from Mini DV's to DVD's is a firewire. The firewire ports are needed to transfer the large size videos, if a computer does not have a firewire port, they may be added for approximately 30 dollars.

Let's take for example any body part, now imagine that body part becoming larger and larger on a screen. It's not natural to display such enlarged objects on screen. The zoom feature is convenient; however not natural.
